Missoula Nights

Program Note: In the summer of 2024, I took a weeklong trip to Montana. I was mainly there for the national parks, but had a day to spend entirely in Missoula. Missoula is a very charming city, surrounded by beautiful mountains and meadows. The city itself contains many cozy shops and restaurants, while being small enough to easily walk the whole thing despite still having a robust public transportation system. While clearly being a city, there is not much in the way of noise pollution; it is very quiet and not very busy. This was a welcome change from the cities I am more used to visiting such as Baltimore, which is very busy and quite large. Missoula Nights is intended as a musical representation of the feeling that exploring Missoula inspires.
